Refresher Course

The aim of this training course is to provide and enhance the skills and competencies of operators of forklift trucks, thereby reducing the risk of accident and injury in the workplace.

The 1 Day course is designed for experienced operators and the 2 Day course for persons without forklift experience.

Forklift courses are held every week at our Kewdale training centre. We run courses on your premises if you have 4 or more participants and your own forklift truck.

Participants must be at least 18 years of age. Please read the Terms and Conditions before commencement of training.

• Practical assessment of operator competency
• Theoretical examination on safe operating procedures

Upon completion successful participants will:

• Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the laws relating to the safe operation of forklift trucks
• Understand the importance of the Pre-start check and will demonstrate the correct procedures for Pre-start checks of forklift trucks
• Demonstrate the correct procedures for the safe operation of forklift trucks
• Be presented with a Certificate of Competency to NOHSC:7019 (1992) and an operator's ticket.

WorkSafe Certification to national standard also available
