Dangerous Goods Driver Licence

The aim of this training course is to provide a qualification to enable the participant to gain or renew a Dangerous Goods Driver Licence in Western Australia.

New applicants applying for a DG licence for the first time must complete the 2 day course. This also applies to anyone with a previous DG licence that has been expired for more than 12 months.

Holders of a DG licence that is current or expired for less than 12 months can attend the 1 day Refresher course.

The course is designed to embrace the requirements of all relevant legislation, codes and guidelines that apply to the transport by road of dangerous goods.

The course is approved by the Department of Mines and Petroleum (Resources Safety Division) in accordance with Section 8(2(t) of the Dangerous Goods (Transport) Act 2008.
