These terms & conditions have been designed to provide
maximum assistance to our participants.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE COMMENCEMENT OF TRAINING

Enrolment
There is no pre-requisite for CPB Group courses unless specified in the attached documents. Participants will be selected on a ‘first in’ basis. Enrolment is to be made via the Registration Form attached to this document. Courses with a cost exceeding $300.00 require a minimum deposit of $100.00 or full payment of fees prior to the commencement of training. Payment can be made with cash, cheque, money order or credit card. Please read the attached documentation for all information regarding course content and course outcomes.

Access & Equity
CPB Group maintains the access and equity principals of the VET (vocational education & training) sector, and therefore has procedures in place to provide alternative assessments for our students who have language, literacy or numeracy concerns. We aim to provide flexible learning & assessment methodologies so as to facilitate learning in adherence to EEO principals. Please indicate any needs you may have during registration or enrolment. CPB Group are conscious of providing the best possible support for all our participants, all students concerns are assisted by our staff with a committed sensitivity and total confidentiality. A trained counselor is available to assist student welfare & guidance needs when necessary.

Skills Recognition
CPB Group provides full skills recognition (RPL/RCC) and credit transfer of established competencies to ensure that previous learning is fully recognized. Applicants must submit original documents to support claims for module exemptions. Copies will be retained for file record purposes. Documents submitted should include Certificates of Competencies, Statements of Attainment, Learning Outcome Statements, Completion Certificates, course modules, relevant work and personal references and any other evidence of competency the applicant may consider relevant.

Certification
Participants will only be issued with a Certificate of Competency, Statement of Attainment or qualification after satisfactorily completing all pre-requisites, course exercises, assignments and assessments set by the trainer and assessor. Some courses require a practical assessment to demonstrate the learning outcomes. A competence pass for all learning outcomes is required to gain certification.

Refund Policy
A full refund of fees paid is available providing a minimum of 5 days notice of withdrawal is given. Alternatively, fees paid may be credited towards a later course booking. Cancellations or transfers within 5 days of course commencement may incur a $150.00 administration fee. Non attendance without notice will incur full training fees, paid or otherwise. There is no refund to participants in the event of an unsuccessful assessment outcome, or failure to complete a course for whatever reason. Participants who do not obtain certification after an assessment are entitled to be reassessed no sooner than 3 weeks from completion of the original assessment. An Application for Refund form is available by request from CPB Group Pty Ltd, PO Box 379, Welshpool WA 6986. Applications will be considered within 14 days and a written response provided 7 days thereafter.
CPB Group reserves the right to cancel any course if insufficient bookings are received. Registrants will be offered an alternative course booking date or a full refund.

Appeals Process
All participants have the right of appeal against final assessment outcomes. Appeal Application forms are available by request from CPB Group Pty Ltd, PO Box 379, Welshpool WA 6986. Appeals will be heard within 14 days and a written response provided 7 days thereafter.

Privacy

All personal information including participation results are held in strict confidentiality and will not be disclosed to a third party without written consent from the participant.
